Managing complex audio systems in a larger facility can be difficult, and AV/IT technicians often feel like they need to be everywhere at once.  Whether your scenario involves MXA910 ceiling array microphones in meeting rooms at a government agency, Microflex Wireless systems in lecture halls on a university campus, or a rack full of ULX-D and PSM1000 wireless systems at an important corporate event, you can conquer complexity and scale with these useful Shure software tools that help you to stay in control of your organization’s audio on your mobile device.

Audio Asset Management Software

Monitor battery status and more with SystemOn

SystemOn Audio Asset Management Software was developed to make managing large-scale deployments of Shure audio hardware easier to manage.  You can monitor the status of many Shure products* – including battery health – in real time and troubleshoot on the go.  SystemOn can even send you text or email alerts when a battery reaches a low level or a component goes off-line so you can stay one step ahead of potential situations.

By detecting issues before they become show-stoppers, you can avoid dead air and other meeting interruptions.  You’ll also eliminate unnecessary room visits “just to check things” which minimizes wasted time and enhances your team’s efficiency.

*Compatible with:  Microflex Advance microphones, MXN5-C networked loudspeaker, Microflex Wireless system, ULX-D wireless system, IntelliMix P300 DSP, ANIUSB-MATRIX, SBC networked charging stations

Wireless Microphone Systems Monitoring

If you use lots of wireless systems, you might feel like you need to stay next to the receivers to keep track of things.  The ShurePlus Channels Mobile App for iOS lets you roam your performance space while monitoring key Shure wireless system parameters.

Using an iOS device, you can connect over Wi-Fi to your Shure QLX-D, ULX-D, UHF-R, Axient Digital, and PSM1000 wireless components from almost anywhere.  You can monitor critical information for each channel including RF signal strength, audio level, and remaining battery life.  You can even remotely control settings like frequency assignments, audio gain, muting, and more.  When combined with ShowLink® Remote Control for Axient® and Axient Digital systems, transmitter and receiver settings can both be adjusted simultaneously – without going back to the control booth.

Compatible with:  QLX-D, ULX-D, UHF-R, Axient Digital, PSM1000

Wireless Microphone System Installation Wizard

Planning installations of multiple wireless microphone systems can be confusing.  How many antenna distribution systems do I need for six BLX4R receivers?  Do I need an RF amplifier when remote-mounting receiver antennas?  It can be tricky to figure out exactly which accessories you need and how to put them together.

The Shure Wireless Accessory Wizard takes care of all that.  You just enter which wireless system you’re using, how many units you have, and the frequency band that they’re in.  If you’ll be remotely mounting the antennas, you also enter which type of antenna you plan to use (omni or directional), and the length of antenna cable required.  The selection wizard provides a list of recommended items (with part numbers) for your wireless microphone setup.  It even provides a simple diagram showing how all of the components go together.

With the Wireless Accessory Wizard, you’ll be confident that you have to right pieces to make your Shure wireless systems perform at their best, even in large or complicated installations.

Compatible with:  all Shure wireless systems with detachable receiver antennas
