How a Wireless Conference System Works

The district council of the Bad Kissingen region in Germany used 64 MXCW640 wireless conference units to hold their meetings in a gymnasium instead of the town hall to comply with social distancing regulations. Each council member sat at their own table with sufficient distance between them, and the wireless conference units delivered sound reinforcement and electronic voting capability. A Shure PSM1000 wireless system also provided a wireless connection to temporary loudspeakers that were set up in the press and audience areas.
The French Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris chose the MXCW system to accommodate delegates from different countries at meetings that can take place in a variety of rooms in a busy area of the city. The Ministry’s events department is often asked to set up a meeting space accommodating up to 30 participants around a table with less than an hour’s notice.
